The Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the results of its 2018 Community Awards presented at a special event held on Wednesday, February 20th, 2018 at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre.
Each year the Chamber honors individuals and businesses for their contribution to the community and excellence in business. This celebration follows a nomination period during which Qualicum Beach residents and visitors are encouraged to nominate those they consider deserving of recognition.
Networking began at 5:30 with guests enjoying beverages and perusing the showcase display tables. Galloping Gourmet provided a delicious meal highlighting Carved Baron of Beef with all the fixings.
Dave Graham from 88.5 The Beach was the night’s emcee and hosted a lively evening full of celebration and acknowledgement. This years’ awards evening was a very special occasion where our full attention was on nominees, and the businesses that help to contribute our unique and vibrant community.
