Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce

Qualicum Beach – The Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Town of Qualicum Beach, has formed an initial working group to investigate options for the eventual replacement of the aging and inadequate Visitor Centre building located along the waterfront at the foot of Memorial Avenue. Originally built in 1966 as a boathouse, the 53 year old facility has been on the current site since the 1970’s and currently receives 20,000 visitors to our region annually – over 10,000 from May long weekend until Labour Day.
“We couldn’t be more excited to announce the formation of this committee during Tourism Week here in British Columbia. Tourism plays a vital role in the economic health of our community; welcoming visitors to our region and the place we are fortunate to call home. We look forward to collaborating on this project to create a space that showcases Qualicum Beach while meeting the needs of our visitors.” Sarah Duncan, President, Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce.
